It would seem that neither rights nor forgiveness nor justice as concepts in themselves will be sufficient to articulate the Christian vision of the realm of God. The Christian contribution to society may perhaps be more a combination of incommensurable fragments, deployed together with non-Christian contributions in different ways at different times but always shaped by the eschatological vision of a Christomorphic trace in history, without which all predictions of the end of history will be incomplete.
